Isabel was born in the Australian mainland in Melbourne. The father of Isabel is Australian and her mother is Swiss. Her family is from the Swiss, in Melbourne Jabiru (a tiny mining community located in the Northern Territory), Cairns Australia and in Jabiru, Switzerland. With the sister Nina she attended schools which included First Nations children as well as other children of different cultures. Isabel lives currently within Byron Bay NSW Australia. Isabel recently completed Sons of Summer, and she is currently in preproduction for the part as Marie Curie for Radiant. Award-winning Annika Glac is writing and directing the film. Isabel is a keen advocate of animal rights, and has worked with many environmental organizations. The role of PatronAmbassador for Melbourne's Human Rights and Arts Film Festival HRAFF was in place for 10 consecutive years.
